Home rooftop solar
Rooftop systems sized for real households — from cutting the power bill to keeping the lights and freezer on through outage season.
Solar Vest Team is a hands-on crew out of Holyoke, Colorado. We put solar on homes, farms, ranches, and small businesses across the Eastern Plains — and we stick around after the panels go up.
Out here the sun shows up nearly every day. Our job is to put it to work in a way that makes sense for your house, your operation, and your budget.
Rooftop systems sized for real households — from cutting the power bill to keeping the lights and freezer on through outage season.
Outbuildings, well pumps, workshops, and grain systems. Practical power where the work actually happens, built to take the weather.
Right-sized arrays for shops, offices, and ag businesses that want steady, predictable power costs without a big-company sales process.
Energy assessments before you commit, and maintenance follow-through after. We look at your usage first, then talk hardware.
Around here, solar isn't a luxury upgrade — it's a practical answer for places the grid reaches poorly or expensively. We've put power on outbuildings, shops, and well sites where running line would have cost more than the panels.
If you've been told your site is "too far out," that's usually where we do our best work.
Early site walk: checking roof condition, shading, and panel layout before anything gets ordered.
Switch-on day: system tested, monitored, and walked through with the owner.
Every project starts the same way: somebody from the crew comes out, walks the site, looks at your power bills, and listens. We don't quote from a photograph, and we don't push a system bigger than you need.
You'll know what we're proposing, what it should produce, and what the timeline looks like before a single panel is ordered. When the system goes live, we test it, walk you through it, and then we check back.
Solar Vest Team is owned by Marcus Schlachter and based at 16966 County Road 45 in Holyoke. Most of our work sits inside Phillips and Sedgwick counties — Holyoke, Haxtun, Amherst — with regular projects over toward Julesburg and beyond.
The Eastern Plains get some of the best sun in the state, and a lot of roofs and outbuildings out here are doing nothing but shedding it. Whether you're in town or twenty miles out a gravel road, the first conversation is free.
Give us a call or send a note. We'll come look at the site, talk through what makes sense, and leave you with straight answers — no pressure either way.
