This page describes what we do and don't do when it comes to advertising, sponsored content, and outside links. It applies to solarvesteam.com and to how we present the business elsewhere.
No third-party ads, no data selling
This website does not display third-party advertisements, and it never will. We do not accept payment for placements, banners, or sponsored posts on solarvesteam.com, and we do not sell, rent, or trade visitor information with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. The only thing promoted on this site is Solar Vest Team's own services. Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
How we talk about our work
We hold our own marketing to the same standard we hold our installs: honest and straight. In practice, that means:
- No deceptive claims. We describe what our systems are designed to do, without exaggerating production numbers, savings, or independence from the grid. Every site is different, and we say so.
- No pricing bait. We do not advertise teaser prices to get a foot in the door. Because every roof, ranch, and power bill is different, we don't publish numbers at all — real answers come after a site visit.
- No pressure selling. We do not use countdown offers, fake scarcity, or high-pressure follow-up. If solar isn't right for you, we'll tell you.
- Clear sponsorship. We do not publish undisclosed sponsored content, paid reviews, or affiliate links. If anything on this site were ever provided at a discount by a supplier, we would say so in plain words right next to it.
External links
This site may link to outside resources — for example, utility interconnection information, equipment manufacturer pages, or local references. Those links are provided for convenience. We do not control third-party sites, and a link does not mean we endorse everything a site says or sells. Their own privacy and advertising policies apply once you leave solarvesteam.com.
Outreach and referrals
Most of our work comes from word of mouth, and we'd like to keep it that way. From time to time we may reach out locally — a handshake at the feed store, a community bulletin board, or a follow-up with someone who has already contacted us. We do not buy cold call lists, and we do not send unsolicited bulk email or text messages. If we ever contact someone who would rather we didn't, we stop — one ask is enough.
Compliance statement
Our advertising practices are intended to comply with applicable consumer protection and advertising laws, including Federal Trade Commission guidance on truthful advertising and endorsement disclosure, and with Colorado law. If you believe anything on this site or in our outreach is unclear or inaccurate, please tell us — we will fix it promptly.
